Assassins Creed Unity
As all you die hard fans know Assassins Creed Unity was announced yesterday with a release date of near Christmas and a trailer, and I have seen the trailer.
And here it is.
So as you know this will be the second AC game to be released this year and it is set in the French revolution and the 1 minute video shows an unknown assassin outside what I would say is Notre Dame, on a rooftop, watching a public execution by guillotine. He is looking at a pocket watch and I think he is deciding weather or not to do something so im guessing a main protaganist in the game is at the execution but decieds that now is not the time for his mark to meet his maker, so to speak.
This is all the information I have gathered about it so far, so look out for more.
I have added an email subscription gadget to the right of the blog so if you like what you see fill it out and you will get posted.

Thief Review
Only played on Xbox 360 but I believe that all platforms are the same.
If you like sneaking, murdering, stealthing and stealing then this game is for you.
Thief is a first person sneaker/looter game that can be played in many ways, you can be stealthy, stick to the shadows and don't harm anybody, or you can be aggressive and kill anyone who stands between you and your target, in my opinion I prefer the second choice but it is quite costly on your loot money because arrows aren't cheep from back alley dealers.
You play as a seasoned thief named Garrett, in a sort of steampunk world that is kinda like the Victorian age but with technological advances, and on a hiest with a young naive partner something strange happens and when you wake, after a long period of time, she is gone and you are being transported through the city in a beggars waggon so to speak and you do all in your path to find her and find out what happened on that fateful night.
The games story is very well written and kudos to its writers but I have one critisism about the story and the is the ending I found it disappointing and confusing.
The game play is intense at parts with make it a thrilling play, especially through certain missions that even include some jump scares, and that's all I'm leaking to you by the way.
The use of the different tools and weapons you can get that help throughout the game and give you more routes and secrets through each mission, this includes making it easier, and some times harder to escape from guards, or break into building to steal your loot.
For example, oh wait SPOILER ALERT, The wrench tool you can use to open air vents/sewer pipes assisted me all the way through the story as well as in the side missions, of which there are many. even when I stumbled into a room, through one of these vents, with someone in and I thought it was a guard and tried to kill him and it turned out to be a merchant/Black market dealer, what ever your preference is.
The wide range of puzzles so to speak is mentally challenging in the later parts of the story, in where you have to sneak, distract or kill your way through the building, street or prison to get to your destination or prize, there are guard dogs, birds, broken glass, torches, fires, breakable ornaments and bottles that can all give away your position to the guards and other enemy's in the game.
The upgrade system for your skills is in the game is well designed you chaose which area you would like to upgrade weather it being, sneaking, archery, speed, focus or lock picking and it can be upgraded twice giving you a great advantage throughout the game.
My only critisim is that the map is somewhat misleading and that there is no clear passages from one map to another so finding your way from one area to another for looting purposes or going to visit the Queen of beggars for upgrades or Basso for jobs can be confusing.
